I have to say beer flows alot more freely at uk cons - drinking is a main stay of the time wasting between events and in the evening (with the main bars onsite being dedicated to the event.)

It'll be a laugh - havn't got drunk with fellow momoists before lol.

There are lols to be had at the anime disco, J-pop party, and maybe a Eurobeat party. Endless beer fueled amusement. Maybe a giant mix of all 3

I will arrive at the Birmingham Int'l airport. How to staying and moving are a little problems. The Warwick Arts Centre seems to be away from the station. Is anyone have candidate list of the Hotel or something?I like the cheapest one.  ;)

This is a list of hotels ordered by price:
Hotels in Coventry
Hotels in Coventry (Japanese site)

And here's a map of where the convention is:
Google Map
(there are two more hotels on that map that aren't on the expedia website)

As i mentioned before... taxi's in England are very expensive (anywhere from £5 to £10 to get from a hotel to warwick arts centre). :( If there's more than one person in the same hotel then it's not too bad.

There is accomodation at Warwick Arts Centre (it is only one person per room, and is £47.50 per night).

If we all try for the same hotel and in multiples of 4 people taxis wont be a problem

http://www.expedia.co.uk/pub/agent.dll/qscr=dspv/nojs=1/htid=19701 Chorus hotel looks like a winner

That would be £93 per room so £46.50 per person, plus cab which will be close to the £10 mark, however 4 people per taxi (5 or 6 to if you hire a bigger taxi) so we can keep the taxi prices below £10 per person per day on cabs.

It costs £200 to stay onsite, or £100 off site - that's £100 more beer tokens lol. It all depends on having 4 or so people in the same place though lol.

Thank you for hotel info.
It seems to be certain that Chace Corus Hotel is the best.
I will reserve it one room.
However, it might be tomorrow or the day after tomorrow because it hears friend's opinion.

Awsome.

We're looking at buying 500 pink and 500 blue glowsticks to give out at the event.

Are you guys looking for donations to get those glowsticks? I can probably pitch in a little money to help get the concert glowing...

GAH UK conventions are so darn slow - Just accept the registrations already you idiots *yells at the wall* le sigh - not so much of a problem for me of course but must be a pain for over seas visitors.

Lol maybe they sensed my growing fury - all confirmed now.  :D

Alright, that's good!

Even though I'm not able to go, I'm excited that the UK finally gets a chance to host Momoi =D

The freely flowing beer won't get in the way of pictures, I hope =D

So where are you all staying at? I was thinking about Chace Corus Hotel and Ramada Hotel. Both are almost the same price, but Ramada would be probably better for using the public transportation...

Really looking forward to this con ^^ Can't believe they managed to get Momoi XD

I'll be staying at the Ramada hotel with my girlfriend. There's buses that run from Coventry city centre out to the university. Number 12 I think? You can catch it outside the train station.

Might be cosplaying as Kyon at the con but will see o.o
