It's pretty dang obvious who Anime Vegas has as their Japanese guest this year. https://www.facebook.com/AnimeVegas

(for the Facebook Challenged: http://imgur.com/ZRZA522).

Not officially announced on their website yet, but, well, the cat's out of the bag, running down the street and getting into a fight with another cat.

Edit: And now it's on the Anime Vegas website. http://www.animevegas.com

Momoi specific schedule:

Friday (金) Nov 1:
*1300-1400 (Ballroom) Opening Ceremonies

Saturday (土) Nov 2:
1200-1300 (Rainbow Room) Panel
1300-1400 (Rainbow Room) Autographs
1730-1800 (Ballroom) Seating begins for Live (and also the cosplay masquerade, ugh).
1800-1900 (Ballroom) Live
1700-???? (Near Ballroom) Autographs and goods sale

Sunday (日) Nov 3:
*1300-1400 (Ballroom) Closing Ceremonies

*no guarantees Momoi will be at opening or closing ceremonies.

Hopefully that's helpful to those that are going and participating.

I thinking about when to get flights / vacation days / hotel nights. Any ideas about when events would really start and end?

Are you trying to imply something with all the cat references?  ;D

It's hard to say when the events would be.

Last time I was there, the concert was Friday night, panel was Saturday mid-morning. It's not, IIRC, a 24 hour or a really late night con. Or maybe I didn't stick around late night, because, you know, bright lights, big city and all that. I'd speculate 9am-10am start on any day and maybe 10pm close (depending what you want to be doing there; e.g. masquerade/cosplay contest, etc.)? Don't quote me on it. I'm sure there's someone in this forum dying to let us all know the juicy details.  ;D

This year, it's in the Renaissance Hotel. I think in terms of raw attendance numbers, it was about the same as JX USA was this year (at least in the same ballpark).

Not specifically. Went with an idiomatic expression, then ran with it. Maybe down the street, to watch the catfight.  ;D

Schedule seems to be posted in text on the Facebook page. Editing first post with this info.

Looks like the latest things on the schedule posted are a few things that run to 11pm on Friday and Saturday. Not sure if there's a dance that runs later (e.g. like Anime Expo).

Okay, at least the concert is first. Don't think it'll have much of an impact on us, since we'll probably be lining up as soon as her panel is over anyways. Hopefully it means that the room will be filled or close to full. I wouldn't have expected much out of the crowd either way, but at least with a big crowd there's a chance for some decent energy. Could be a problem with sitting/standing since I assume there will be chairs - might have to hope she asks everybody to stand up. ::)

Looks like she'll be part of OP/ED ceremonies, too, according to that.

Interesting. The official program guide not only doesn't list any of her events, it outright conflicts with her panel and autograph times. Assuming the schedule is correct, then either it's happening in another room, or there's going to be a traffic jam.

For example, we have her panel on Saturday at 1430-1600 in the Paramount Room. In the official posted program guide, at 1330-1500 there's a Hetalia cosplay meetup at the Paramount, then at 1500-1600 there's a One Piece fan panel. Likewise, her autograph session is listed on Sunday at 1200-1230 in the Cosplay Ballroom. On the official guide, there's at least an autograph session listed there, but it's for Jerry Jewel, Yuri Lowenthal, Tara Platt and Miley Yamamoto. I guess one more in there couldn't hurt?

Seems like there's some sort of mix up somewhere.

Beyond that, people who aren't actively looking for her panel won't know it's going on, based on the program guide. I wonder what the attendance is going to be like for her panel. There could be very few people there, or a whole lot of Hetalia cosplayers and One Piece fans in her panel.

Her live doesn't have a conflict, but it's also not listed on the schedule. I figure that the Masquerade traffic will bring a lot of people in there regardless. Assuming that her live is at that time. I believe her after live sign session is probably fine, since that doesn't require a room. I'll guess that they'll sell stuff immediately following the live there; maybe give her a little time after the live to prep and get ready for signing.

Everyone who's going, I wish you good luck!

Posting the updates to the schedule as best as we know. Subject to change, but probably this is it.

Edit: the room is officially called the Rainbow Room
