You look remarkably similar to a certain strange foreign child of unknown origin living with a middle aged, eccentric but unemployed translator who frequently wears boxers on his head.

xD

Ok, I'd like to intruduce myself in this forum I knew about thanks to mandichan I think..
I'll try to explain why I like Momoi Halko and why I am here !

I became familiar with Momoi and UNDER17 around 2005 more or less, just at the same time I began to follow some Hello!Project style Idols regularly. I've always been interested on anime music although I didn't know most of my favourite songs were considered "idol pop" until I learn about the concept when I was 17. I could say my main "hobby" is Idols of all kind.

However, I think the main reason why I enjoy of Momoi's world is a little bit more sentimental and selfish than that...   Outside my circle of friends, i'm usually picked on because of my looks and hobbys. In fact, this is the reason why I'm feeling inspired to write today xD
Fortunately, I was one of those persons who were able to proctect themselves against isolation thanks to The Holy Internet at a very early age. And get to know Akihabara, anime bishoujos, etc, etc....

I don't really know up to how extent Momoi's past is related to this kind of experiences, but seeing her surrounded by passionate "ookina otomodachi", singing so proudly and having made a life out of her hobbies ... just puts me in a positive mood : D

And this is my incredible footstep in the river of time.....!

This is a nice forum. I really like it.

Yotsuba&!!!!!!

Hello all!  I've been a Momoist since 2003 I think (when Mouse came out...IntelliMOUSE rocks!!!).  I was mainly a Jrock fan prior to that...but even then I was listening to a lot of high-pitched rockers like Judy and Mary, Whiteberry, Go!Go!7188, Hysteric Blue etc. etc.

It's weird, but even though I don't understand a lick of Japanese, Momoi's song never fails to uplift me.  Maybe it's the high-pitch voice, the fast beats, the hybrid gamewave/8-bit/techno/trance style, or the mad guitar riffs, but I always end smiling and getting goosebumps whenever I listen to her songs.  It's like what B.LT.89 said, her songs just automatically puts you in a positive mood.

And knowing how hard she works and performs for all her fans makes her even more AWESOME!

This forum rocks!!!  Looking forward to interacting more with all of you, lurking less, and mastering CALLs! =)

Welcome everyone. We may have all taken different paths to get here, but we're all together in this one spot. So, pull up a chair, kick back, relax and have some fun. We don't bite, except for Priz, but we've talked to him about that and he's working on it.  :P

Since I stumbled-upon UNDER17's "Nostalgia" via watching random Visual Novel/AVG trailers in 2003, I was always aware and enjoyed momoi's vocals.

The 2009 Fanime concert has turned me into an eternal fan, from Santa Clara, CA, USA.

I specialize in Vocaloid-related media and keep to date on it as much as possible.

It's a pleasure to meet all of you.

Hey everyone. Just joined after meeting a lot of you in Fanime this year. I won't go into how I became a Momoi fan here because I posted most of that on the Timeline thread, but I knew of her since 2007 because of Seto no Hanayome and got into her stuff after attending her concert at AX that summer.

So the people I can associate from meeting at Fanime to their online selves are paranda, Mandi-chan, catsspat, and I can't remember if the girl we used as a model Momoi at the call workshop panel was PetiteFool or not. Also, which one was Priz? I know he posts on the SA forums too and I know I must've seen him there with everyone, but I don't think we talked.

Yes, we used PetiteFool as our stand-in at the Call workshop.  ;D

I was the guy running the Powerbook for the Call workshop (next to Coverman). Shinji was next to me with the other laptop, streaming to NicoNico.

Welcome Willsun!!  You must be psychic.  We had Momoi sign the same 21 Seki poster!  It must've been the power glove ;D...

Also, which one was Priz? I know he posts on the SA forums too and I know I must've seen him there with everyone, but I don't think we talked.

Priz was wearing a black shirt with the different star constellations design on it on the last day (May 25, 2009).  I remembered coz it had some pretty funny constellation names  ;D.  In the group pic he's the one behind you, to your left.

Ah, so that was Priz. I was reading that shirt too, so I definitely remember him.

The 21 Seiki poster is a good choice because 1.) it wouldn't be too bad to hang on a wall without uh, people giving me looks for otaku-related things and 2.) it had good white space for Momoi to sign on.
